Customer Support

Choice Customer Support is available Monday through Friday from 10am to 7pm (Eastern time). Emergency support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The emergency support is provided by the same team that is available for non-emergency calls during normal business hours. Calls placed during non-business hours go to a pager and are generally returned within fifteen minutes.

Our Customer Support is handled primarily via telephone, but we also have the ability to easily dial into a client's system (with their permission) via an array of remote support products that we provide for same screen tutorials and technical support.

The cost for Choice Support is extremely competitive (in some cases thousands of dollars less per year than our direct competitors!) and is based on the size of the system purchased. Support is unlimited and is based on an annual contract.



Hardware and Network Requirements

Choice is a true 32-bit Windows application and requires the same minimum configuration needed to run other Windows applications. Choice runs on the latest technology, including Windows7 and MSServer2008 R2. Although a network product, Choice does not require its own File Server. Generally, it is Choice's policy that all Server & PC hardware and networking services are to be acquired locally by the client.

The following specifications represent the minimum requirements to run the system effectively on Windows NT/2000/2003/2008 network.

File Server Requirements

  • Pentium 1.2 GHz CPU
  • 1 GB Memory
  • 10 GB Hard Drive allocated to Choice Ticketing Software
  • SVGA Monitor
  • 101 Keyboard/Mouse
  • 100 MBit Network Card
  • System for Full Server Backup (Tape, CD, or External Hard Drive)
  • Windows Server 2000/2003/2008
  • A more powerful system is recommended for a box office that anticipates high volume with Choice. Like all software products, Choice runs better and more efficiently on a stronger Hardware platform.

Credit Card Server Requirements

Typically, Choice Ticketing's credit card module is run on a file server, eliminating the need for a separate credit card server. If you choose to run Choice Ticketing's credit card software module on a separate credit card server, these minimum requirements apply:

  • Pentium 1.2 GHz CPU
  • 1 GB Memory
  • 5 GB Hard Drive allocated to Credit Card Gateway Software
  • SVGA Monitor
  • 101 Keyboard/Mouse
  • CD-Rom Drive
  • 100 MBit Network Card
  • Windows XP, Windows Server 2000/2003

Workstation Requirements

  • Pentium 1.2 GHz CPU
  • 512 MB Memory
  • 1 GB Hard Drive allocated to Choice Ticketing Software
  • SVGA Monitor
  • 101 Keyboard/Mouse
  • 100 MBit Network Card
  • Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7
